«Aeroacoustics. From physics to numerics and back»

This minisymposium will be devoted to current problems in aeroacoustics
related to high speed flows, in aeronautics and in propulsion. All methods
of investigation: theory, physical experiment, and numerical simulation,
are to be discussed, in relation to tonal and broadband noise generation
and propagation.
A special attention is paid to the state-of-the-art and potentials of
using computational experiment for industrial applications in aeroacoustics.

An aim of the symposium is to discuss actual problems in the field of
micro and nano technology in aerospace research. The following topics
are to be discussed:
• state-of-art in theoretical and experimental research methods
for nanomaterials
• methods and technology for creation of nanomaterials with required
properties
• advantage and disadvantage of the nanomaterials
• gas flows in micro and nano structures
• experimental and theoretical study of the gas/wall interaction
in micro and nanochannels
• possible areas of application in aeronautics.
One-page abstracts including the title, authors’ names and affiliation,

A special attention will be paid to examples of practical industrial

This EC Minisymposium will present achievements of collaborative projects in numerical simulation,
flow control, aerodynamics and aircraft design within the Aeronautics research of the EU Framework Programmes.
